UNCLE

Yes, I’m crying uncle with the snow.   My nice neighbor used his snowblower on the driveway twice while I was in Florida, and I shoveled yesterday……….but, omigosh, you should see that driveway right now.  So, I give up.  I just called my lawn guy, who also does plowing.   Hope he’s coming up this way soon.

I did get out and drive in the mess briefly today.  Had to get my tax stuff in the mail and also mailed my shower gift for the big party in LA on Sunday the 11th.   The gifts took up too much room for my suitcase, so I thought the USPS could deal with them.  I rely on the Post Office for all my mailing.  I practically qualify as a USPS groupie with all the packages I send to my girls.  They should have a "frequent mailer" program, where after ten packages or so I’d get a freebie.  LOL

So now I’m in for the day;  there’s a nice spinach lasagne in the oven, and I’ve been to the library, so plenty to read.   Oh, yes, it’s up to 20 degrees today;  down to thirteen tonight.   LA is sounding mighty good.

Hey…..that\’s a great idea…..every 10th mailing, you get one for free.  The post office should try that….their popularity might pick up again…lol.
    Hugs….Diane.

The cold this month has been really getting me down. I think the warm fall made it harder to accept the frigid January.

YOu sure are getting "snowed" under!
I think NY  set a record for a snowless 2006.
This year we have had flurries that didn\’t even make an inch.
I loved your previous post. KW sounds like a great place to relax
and unwind. I LOVE your pictures! I didn\’t know they had Banyon trees
    in KW. I Love them!

LA sounds a whole lot better than sitting there for the rest of this bad winter.  It is still raining here and I think we have set a record.

We\’ve got plenty of cold, but nowhere near the snow you have over there.  Lake effect?  I just got a post card from the USPS saying they\’ll come to our home to pickup packages and all sorts of other services.  Here\’s a link.  I\’ve ordered supplies and it\’s really a good deal.

I came by to see how much fun you had in Key West.  I remembered you were going.  Looks like a lot of fun by the pictures.  I just love the place.  I\’m needing a trip there soon.  Well, now you\’re off to LA?  I would too with all that snow.
    Hugs,
    ~Linda~
