Oh, nothing big is changing. Just the background of my blog…and I thank Beth and Caroldee for telling me how to get nifty backgrounds to use. Hearts may be jumping the season a bit, since it is over a month until Valentine’s day, but I see all the snow I want right out the window; sure don’t need to look at it in here, too. Actually, our snow has melted, at least temporarily. The forecast is for more of the ugly stuff the next three days straight, however, so I’m bracing myself.
I have a busy week planned. My friend Pat is coming over to have lunch and work a jigsaw puzzle with me tomorrow. She has cats, so that is not a pleasure she can enjoy at home, at least not if she wants to have all the pieces for the puzzle. LOL On Tuesday, another friend is coming for lunch; then Wednesday I’m mall walking, followed by, what else, another lunch. These are all quiet pursuits, but ones I particularly enjoy.
In less than two weeks I will be in LA. It appears to be warming up out there, so I am hopeful there will be sunshine during my stay.
Our lake is frigid; no fun walking on the beach this time of year, although there is a wild beauty about it.

As I look at the snow outside my window I must admit that LA seems pretty dreamy.
