Baaaack

Had a good flight from Sarasota to Midway…love those non-stops ones.  AirTran charges for luggage, so that was annoying.  However,  my rt ticket was a great price, so I’m not inclined to whine.   Next time I fly them, however, it will be with a carry on only.

I had hoped to post some pictures in the next few days but sadly cannot, as my SIL Bob still has my computer at his home.  He’s doing something to it….updates maybe;  cleaning this and that off of it,  you know…don’t you?  I really don’t, but it’s important and I’m lucky to have a family member who knows what to do.  Anyway,  I can’t download photos to this laptop as my Kodak attachment/transfer thing-y is attached to the big computer.   I did take lots of pix, though, and some of them look like they’ll be good ones.  Hard to tell when they’re only one-inch square.

My flight arrived at Midway at just the right time to allow me to gather up said suitcase and catch the airport shuttle to Michigan City, Indiana.  By then about three hours had elapsed, longer than the actual flight.  Noel picked me up and we went straight to Denny’s for sandwiches.  I was STARVING, having eaten nothing since 7:30 a.m.   OK, now I am whining.  (But I’m so good at it.)

It’s good to be home.  Tomorrow I’ll unpack and do l’dry; pay bills, and (sob) contact both my insurance company and a body shop to start the process of repairing my pretty little Honda.  I swear that shopping cart corral jumped right out in front of me!
