My lovely old Kodak digital camera died after giving good service for ten years. I had no idea what to replace it with, but then realized I could get a nikkon free with my ‘mileage’ points…just as I had done for my coffee maker.
Yesterday I received a postcard saying the camera would arrive in three weeks. Twenty minutes later (really) UPS delivered the camera. Hmmm. I unboxed it, spread the component parts out on the table, called Noel. She was willing to come over immediately, but the camera and I hadn’t warmed up to each other yet, so I suggested she wait a day.
This morning she did come over; figured out how to assemble and charge the camera and download the photo editing tool. Once charged, the camera was ready. Was I? Sort of. I managed to take a photo , and more importantly, transfer it to the computer. Whew, I’m ready for a nap.
Here’s the photo: sweet autumn clematis growing up the lamppost on the patio.
