Andie, almost three

I was browsing through my on-line photos this morning, and saw these two of Andie.   What a long way she has come.  The first was taken when she was adopted from Ethiopia in the summer of 2010;  the other, just a month or so ago.

Tiny and frail,  and having just endured a very long plane trip,  Andie settled into life in LA.  She didn’t just survive, she thrived.   Aurelia at last had the sister she had longed for; the Viner family grew; and we all rejoiced.   Andie is bright and active. Ahem, make that very active.   She is now in preschool, while her sister attends first grade.  They get along beautifully, despite the four-year age difference.

You can’t imagine how I miss them.

Isn’t she beautiful?
