Can’t live without them, folks…this is America, land of cars. This is Michigan, land of trucks. We have one of each, but for the past ten days have been sharing my Honda. Why? Because Don’s truck is in the body shop having some rust attended to. The man doing the painting got sick last week, so the work was delayed. We may be able to pick it up today. Sure hope so, as my car started making a funny noise on Tuesday. We noticed it while driving to Battle Creek. It’s headed into the shop this afternoon. Fingers crossed.
In the meantime, the packing, etc. is ongoing. I can’t believe we’re taking two weeks out of the middle of all this house stuff to go on vacation to Virginia. But we’ve had the reservation for a full year; paid in advance; want very much to go. I’m just hoping I can relax with all those uncompleted lists hanging over my head.
The good thing in all this is that life is certainly not boring.
