We are…as of 30 minutes ago…online at home!!!! This feels so good. Two weeks without easy access made us realize how often we run to the computer for email, Facebook, blogging, games, news online, etc.
Today was super busy: painter came by to give estimate for removing wallpaper and painting two bathrooms; trellis guys came by to give estimate; computer/phone/tv guy was here for over two hours hooking stuff up; sprinkler guy stopped over; I managed a trip to the bank to straighten out a SNAFU; and on and on.
Tomorrow they are installing the trellis and the air conditioner man will be here; Wednesday is power washing day; Thursday Habitat for Humanity will pick up our old bedroom dressers in preparation for new ones. Maybe on Friday I’ll actually be able to leave the house for more than thirty minutes!
It’s good to get stuff done; all the voice mail has been making me crazy, of course, but that seems to be the necessary first step for all else. So onward we go.
