He’s baacck! Yes! The tile floor is being installed as I type. Bathtub is firmly cemented in place (or whatever you do to tubs). Sink, cabinets, faucet, counter top in place. Hardware not yet attached to doors and drawers. We’re looking good for a Monday finish. Fingers crossed.
In the meantime, I’ve talked with Lois, and they can reschedule if necessary. Thanks for that flexibility, Lois and Tom! It is one of the nicest benefits of being retired…no schedule, no pressure.
My mouth is no longer sore; Don’s is slightly less healed, so he is eating gingerly. Soft foods it is!
Of course, we’re ‘freezing’ with temps only in 50s; frost last night. But I’ve seen photos from Michigan: whiteout conditions, huge accidents on the highways, and no relief in sight. Glad we’re here; wish we’d brought everyone with us.
