Not me, for a change; but Don’s cold/flu (whatever it was last week) has come back with a vengeance. It’s ten a.m. and he’s sound asleep; probably the best thing to be.
We had a nice visit with Jack and Cheryl, but probably did too much. Half way through our tour of the Ringling, Don had to find a bench. He sat out the rest of our visit there; came home and barely stayed awake until they left. 😦 Then the fever started, accompanied by headache and sore throat. I fed him soup and tried to stay my distance. Bummer all around, especially since this was the weekend for us to drive over to Fort Pierce for a visit and reunion with old high school friends. But, what can one do? It’s not fair to expose others, and he probably wouldn’t have made it through the weekend anyway, so here we are.
The only good news in this entry is that the weather is much improved….going to be mid-60s today and already it’s sunny with nary a cloud in sight.
