We have accepted an offer for our place! Now we’re wallowing around in the tedious paperwork…the price we pay for ‘For sale by owner’ ,,,, I see why realtors earn their money. Still, I am glad not to have to pay that additional fee. All the closing cost items have been eye-opening, to say the least.
Most cupboards and closets are empty; the car is getting full! I’ve mailed quite a few packages, and God bless my sister Bertie for receiving them so they don’t just sit on our porch up there.
I’m not looking forward to that long drive north, but boy oh boy, am I ready to be home.
