We’re hanging on, a little bored, a little lonely, but basically ok.   Tomorrow is our big day to grocery shop…..exciting!  And a little scary.   Because people are contagious while asymptomatic,  there’s no way to know if six feet is far enough away;  or if they’ve touched something you are about to pick up.  Aaaagh.   So disinfectant wipes it is…  wipe down the cart and pick everything up with a wipe covering my fingers!  We can do this. Unload groceries into trunk and wipe down car handles, etc.   We really don’t want this virus and are hoping no one we know comes down with it.   On the positive side,  our bodies are quite skilled at developing antibodies and fighting off these nasty intruders.  Go, body!!!  I’m rooting for you.

I’m reading James Patterson, who for some reason I’ve ignored over the years; for the most part, anyway.  I have read the Alex Cross books.   I’ve got a Women’s Murder Club book sitting by my chair, so that’s next up.

’50s music, as always, is booming away through the tv.  Love that about cable:  free music channels.  Thank you, Verizon!

We wanted a pizza yesterday and came so close to ordering take-out.  But the thought of someone else touching my food creeps me out, so no pizza. (Am I turning into Howard Hughes????)

Stay safe out there!
